Rhodochrosite
Article Abstract:
The increase in mineral prices has primarily benefitted rhodochrosite. Although it has no gem potential, it always wins in price contests. Despite rhodochrosite's softness which makes it unsuitable for jewelry, it has been cut into some beautiful stones called scalenohedrons.

Peridot-olivine
Article Abstract:
Silicate minerals such as peridot and olivine can be found in abundance at Myanmar, Pakistan, an Indian reservation in Arizona, and Zebirget. The minerals which are a combination of varying amounts of magnesium and iron are gems with light green appearance.

Hemimorphite
Article Abstract:
Hemimorphite in mineralogymeans half-formed. This name was first coined in 1853 and it refers to an uncommon subdivision of the orthorhombic crystal system. Hemimorphic minerals have sides that are different from their tops.
