Scale contest for beginners: a great idea for future growth

The F-Troop Club of Southern California and Beyond enlisted the support of local model airplane clubs in sponsoring a scale airplane airshow and exhibit. The event served as an ideal opportunity to promote the hobby of model airplane making.

'94 Aviation Expo: full-scale and R C spectacular
Article Abstract:
The 1994 Aviation Expo at Ankeny, IA, was a combination of remote-control flying, full-scale exhibition flights and pyrotechnics. Approximately 40,000 people attended the show amidst the near perfect weather.
