People who attend craft shows n ormally respond to a consistent aesthetic in a jeweler's collection, and it is important not to make one piece compete with the others. It is also important not to fill a display table with jewelry, and a jeweler has to find out which design a customer responds to . Other tips in making a sale in a craft show for jewelers are given.

Pottery and jewelry mended using chewing gum and dating to the Neolithic period was discovered in Finland, wherein b irch bark tar was used both for chewing and as a fixative when boiled. M odern glues and epoxies available in the market remove the need to use chewing gum in jewelry making. The properties of chewing gum are also discussed.
