Malachite
Article Abstract:
Malachite is a green secondary mineral which has become popular for mosaics, cabochons and carvings. It abounds in Mednorudnyansk and Nizhne Tagilsk, Russia, where the mineral helped develop the lapidary industry in Ektarinburg during the 18th century.
