Spencer's ornithopter

Percival H. Spencer's ornithopter is a man-carrying model whose engine is installed within the fuselage. It was believed to be the first successful radio-controlled ornithopter and the only one ever to fly. Its only means of propulsion are the flappers made of rip-stop nylon.
