A pair of lightweight World War I backyard flyers such as the British S.E.5 and the Fokker D.VII is presented. Both Dogfighter planes fly very well at full power and lift off in about 3 feet, but for the first flight it is necessary to use only 3/4 power until one is familiar with the controls.
