Yanmar makes about 50% of the auxiliary diesel boat engines in the US each year. The Japanese firm makes a 15- and 37-hp engines that are excellent for yacht tenders and commercial boats, although they cost more than $10,000 each. Additional Yanmar diesel engines are described.
