The editor and publisher of a boating magazine went to work by boat instead of commuting by train. Since railroad workers were on strike, he had no other choice. The new Pursuit 2870 that he rode sped through the Long Island Sound, from Norwalk, CT to New York, NY in relatively a very short time.

New York at night

Article Abstract:

A man who had planned to commute by boat to New York where he worked had thought that a storm would ruin his plans. Fortunately, the storm had blown over and everything was calm by morning. His trip to work turned out to be a memorable one, overshadowed only by the even nicer journey back home.

Finding time

Article Abstract:

A boater laments about how little time he has for boating and about how a boating trip makes him want to go boating even more. Most boaters also have problems even if they maintain their boats. Service at marine service centers tends to be poor because each part is made by a different company.
