Maynard Hill, a airplane pilot famous for establishing records with radio-controlled aircraft has set around 23 world records and has flew an RC model to the record-breaking altitude of 26,990 feet. He designed a model that met the criteria for the crossing to qualify as an official record under Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) rules and named it 'Spirit of Butts Farm'.
