The Minolta Master Pro 8-918, priced at $2,500, has two charge-coupled devices which give greater color and higher resolution. The exposure metering system has a cell that measures four areas with emphasis on the center area. The Sony Handycam FX510 and FX410 are user-friendly. The former records in stereo.
