A grand vacation in Alabama

The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL, is a historic two-story hotel which was constructed in 1847. The hotel was used as a hospital and army camp by Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. The hotel also offers guided tours and has a gallery which features antique furniture and photographs.

Golfing Alabama's new trail
Article Abstract:
A chain of 18 golf courses, called the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, is being developed in Alabama. Open for public use, the golf courses, once completed, will have a total of 324 holes in seven cities. Four courses are already complete with three more set to finish by spring 1993.

American Football Coaches Association's only female member Carol White was Georgia Tech's football coach until 1989. Today White is director of several summer kicking camps for high school students held at Auburn University.
