Cameron Park, NC, is characterized by a sense of community that extends from members to their gardens. Fine examples of gardens in English cottage-style, as well as gardens focused on flowers, vegetables, herbs and bonsai are presented. All the gardens featured are located within Cameron Park.

Rooting cuttings is easy
Article Abstract:
Semi-hardwood cutting of plants for rooting is best done in June or July. Cuttings should be take from healthy plants and must be allowed to root in the proper rooting medium. High humidity and bright light are also necessities. Newly rooted cuttings must be protected from cold.

Root rot is a soil-borne bacteria or fungus that attacks plants through wounds or natural openings and causes the roots or crown of plants to rot. Selecting plants with high resistance to root rot helps avoid this problem. Tips on how to prevent root rot are provided.
