A passion for pinks

Article Abstract:

Dianthus hybrids or pinks as they are generally termed, are popular plants for flower gardens. Pinks grow best with a neutral or slightly alkaline, well-aerated soil, full sun and moderate heat. In addition to the variety of color and petal shape, the gardener may choose from perfumed or unscented pinks, and several species are evaluated in detail.
