An account is presented of a collection of memorabilia relating to Sherlock Holmes, the fictional British detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes organisations can be found around the world and collectibles range from ceramic figures to the coveted first case story in the 1887 Christmas edition of Beaton's magazine.

Collector Philip Hopper began collecting Anchor Hocking Glass as an adult, though he began collecting items as a child. His glass collection consists of several hundred pieces, and he has written several books about glass collecting.
