Article Abstract:

Architect Tim Seibert designed his Boca Raton, Florida home to make constructive use of a local building code dictating that new waterfront homes be elevated at least 4-and-a-half feet above grade. Seibert lifted the living spaces to the second floor, and used the ground floor for parking and storage spaces.

Kay and Jimmy Fuller's house combines ancient materials and good craftmanship. The French revival-style house is designed by architect Neil Turner. Ornamental shutters of distressed wood are used as draperies and accentuated by furnishings of different textures and colors.
