Big room, bold color
Article Abstract:
An Austin homeowner, who loved stand-out, saturated shades for the walls of her home, found that it requires a lot more thought and color coordination than when working with pale shades. To complement the green color on her living room walls, she chose a soft shade of wheat for the ceiling and for the Roman shades, rather than white, which would have created a stark contrast.

Five-star deck dining
Article Abstract:
Mary Leigh Fitts transformed a forgotten deck, which had no privacy, ambience, plants and which offered minimal seating and less-than stunning view of the adjacent carport, into an enticing outdoor room. The deck was turned into a stunning dining area after the addition of a limestone table, framing of the eating area with curtains, and building of a buffet.
