Article Abstract:

The 32nd Annual National Shrimp Festival is hosted at Gulf Shores, Alabama where more than 30 vendors line the boardwalk and put their own flavorful twist on shrimp, seafood, at the Gulf Shores Public Beach Area. One of the highlights of this festival is the sand castle competition where the four-person teams have to complete their architectural masterpieces in two hours.

Chilton County in Alabama is bang in the middle of peach country with local farms producing about fifteen varieties of the fruit and the highlight at the Sunday market is the homemade peach ice cream. The county also organizes the peach festival where a young girl is crowned Ms. Peach every year and the best peaches are judged according to the size and color.

Priester Pecans, Tanner's Pecans & Candies and Heaton Pecan Farm are some of the busiest stores selling pecans along Alabama's I-65 during the month of November. Candies and pecan delights sold at this place make for some excellent gifts.
