Byrdcliffe: An American arts and crafts colony
Article Abstract:
Byrdcliffe, near Woodstock, New York, a colony explored by the efforts of six scholars presents traveling exhibition of American arts and crafts for visitors. Nanvy E. Green, curator of prints, drawings and photographs at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, and Tom Wolf, professor of art history at Bard College, presented their works in wood, metal and ceramics, paintings, drawings and photography at this colony.

An exhibition of Edward Eberle's ceramic work was held at Garth Clark Gallery, New York, NY from March 1 to April 30, 2005. It presented a range of white porcelain structures made up of many small, fragmented, geometrical parts joined together.

The studio of the Corning Museum of Glass

The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass was doubled in size during the five-year, $65 million expansion of the museum, completed this year. The 12,000-sq. ft. facility's new features will engage artists from novice to masters.
