Dalea wake-up call: despite ruggedness and good looks, only two members of this genus are easy for gardeners to find
Article Abstract:
The plant genus dalea can be found in a variety of North American regions and offers a hardy addition to gardens and landscapes. Two species, the prairie clover and the indigo bush are easy for gardeners to locate and adapt easily to harsh weather. Though largely overlooked by gardeners, both species offer beautiful flowers in purple, pink, or bright white.

Moon pie
Article Abstract:
A man recalls his creation of a cottage garden with his dog Moon Pie. Moon Pie went blind a year after the garden was created and began digging dens everywhere. The gardener eventually filled many beds to allow Moon Pie to dig freely. The dog eventually stopped digging up the flowers and now accompanies the man as he plants and weeds.
