Edward Zucca
Article Abstract:
Zucca's work incorporates objects of popular culture, such as TV sets, lamps and plant stands. Furniture design from the 1950s pervades the 'boxy' shapes of his objects. The influence of cartoon art is reflected through placement of a small aquarium in a TV set with a rocket ship crash in the tank's bottom.
