'The Renwick Invitational: Five Women in Craft' was the first in a biennial series devoted to exploring American Craft. The exhibit featured the works os Mary Jackson, Janel Jacobson, Myra Mimlitsch Gray, Sondra Sherman and Consuelo Jimenez Underwood.

An exhibition of the work of fiber artist Clare Verstegen was held at Gallerymateria, Scottsdale, AZ, in November 2000. Eight screen-printed canvases were displayed and revealed the artist's creative use of color and composition.
