Article Abstract:

The project of updating and enlarging a 1929 bungalow in Texas by its homeowner Rick Luisi and partner Erik Wilson is presented which involved reconfiguring the spaces to make them larger within the same lot and adding period touches, one of which was an Arts and Crafts-style staircase. With the completion of their own house, they have expanded and started doing renovation projects for clients in their immediate neighborhood to maintain the 1920s look.

Article Abstract:

An abandoned two storey home on a desolate lot in Comfort, Texas was considered to be a ghost house that no one wanted to go near. When the couple, Jack and Rhonda Hall saw potential in the house, they renovated that house to include a porch that gave the entire house an inviting air of a plantation house.

Article Abstract:

The restructuring of the 200-year old cottage house situated in the center of New York by the Manhattan-based architect, George Boyle is presented. Some of the restructuring include addition of the first floor, a basement, windows and building the new wing.
