Georgia's island paradise

Article Abstract:

A personal narrative is presented describing the experiences of exploring Georgia's Little St. Simons Island, located at the mouth of the Altamaha River. The island features a sea turtle conservation program, walks along a seven mile beach, and canoeing on the huge salt marshes, and is accessibly only by boat.

Article Abstract:

The arrival of cattle in Florida dates back to before 1500, and the history of Florida cattle wranglers and cowboys dates back to approximately the same time. Ranches cover a large portion of DeSoto County, and areas of the peninsula between Kissimmee and the Everglades.
