The first nematode-resistant bell peppers are growing now!
Article Abstract:
The US Vegetable Lab created two new varieties of bell peppers that are resistant to Southern root-knot nematode pests by crossing the Keystone Resistant Giant and Yolo Wonder B varieties with a nematode-resistant pimento pepper. The seeds will be available to the public in 1998.
