Wedgwood U.S.A. Inc introduced its Fairyland Lustre line in 1915. The home furnishing company manufactured richly-lustered and colorful plaques, bone china plates, vases and bowls decorated with fairies, flowers and waterfalls. This has started the popularity of lustre ware.

There is a growing interest in Paddington Bear and Winnie the Pooh collections. Both storybook characters have amassed a great number of memorabilias in their over forty years of existence. These include ceramic products, cards and vintage storybooks.

Buttons

Elaborate buttons made in the 1700s were both decorative and functional. Smugglers sometimes hid illegal imports of diamonds in buttons, soldiers inserted pictures of their family or sweethearts, and mourning buttons contained hair of the deceased.
