Going bananas
Article Abstract:
Banana trees can create a tropical ambiance in an outdoor garden. Gardeners who want to cultivate banana plants have a wide variety of plants from which to choose. There are dwarf varieties, which grow to only 10 ft. tall, to non-dwarf selections which can grow to between 15 and 30 ft. There are varieties which produce colorful flowers and decorative fruit, and some varieties can be grown in non-tropical climates.

My Japanese-style garden
Article Abstract:
A Japanese garden is supposed to suggest serenity and equilibrium, so a gardener must select plants and decorations that produce the desired environment. Moss creates a soft feeling, with miniature horsetail growing through as a contrast. Japanese-influenced fences, sculptures and stones are important to enhance the authenticity of the garden.
