Growing gifts
Article Abstract:
There are a number of considerations to make before sending the gift of a plant. Nurseries provide alternatives to sending poinsettias during the holiday season, such as selecting a winter-blooming collection that can be purchased for as little as $10. Gift givers are urged to tailor plants to the personality of the recipient by sending succulents for homes that are hot and dry, or bonsai and topiaries for creative gardeners with green thumbs.
