The preparation of pies has considerably changed over the years in order to give these pastries a more delectable taste and aroma. Aside from mouth-watering apples and pears, today's pies are mixed with cinnamon, cranberries, chocolate morsels and pecans.

Priceless pies

Five pie recipes are presented. The Coconut-Macadamia Nut Pie uses nine ingredients and bakes from 55 min to one hour at 350 degrees. Bakewell Tart includes raspberry jam and almonds, and bakes for 20 to 25 min at 400 degrees.
