Are hospital waiting lists self-regulating?
Article Abstract:
Research is presented describing hospital waiting. There is a month-to-month variation in waiting lists to see specialists, and research has found that the variation is not random, but rather has a bias towards the more frequent smaller variations, with larger variations being rare, and these findings conform to a power law.
