Local color: A Connecticut garden takes its inspiration from the land and from a number of talented friends and neighbors
Article Abstract:
Lee Link's country house is set in the panoramic Connecticut valley with a garden integrated into a steeply pitched spot, which is decorated by plants and garden ornaments collected by Link. She tried to get the garden down the hill from its high spot by borrowing ideas from friends and emulating Michael Trapp, a Connecticut antiques dealer, for bringing dramatic changes of level in a garden of hedges.
