The Natchez Trace Parkway showcases the natural wonders of the Natchez Trace path which stretches from Mississippi to Tennessee. From an animal trail to a footpath to an important transportation artery in the 1700s to the 1800s, Natchez Trace fell into disuse with the introduction of steamboats.
