My favorite wildflower

Article Abstract:

The leaves and flowers of Virginia bluebells appear in spring and shortly after the flowers fade it dies back to the ground. The cluster of pinkish buds appear on the top of the stems which gives way to clusters of true blue making them bell shaped flowers.

Practically perfect plants

Article Abstract:

The firecracker plant (Russelia equisetiformis) and coral plant (R. sarmentosa) are hardy plants that can tolerate a number of harsh conditions in a garden. These plants are not affected by the seasons and can bloom even in the winter time.
