Nancy Koenigsberg and Lewis Knauss
Article Abstract:
The works of Nancy Koenigsberg and Lewis Knauss are exhibited at the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery in Lincoln from September 6-30, 2005. The artist Koenigsberg renders steel and copper insubstantial, almost weightless, by isolating hair-thin lines within pockets of empty space, and artist Knauss, on the other hand, methodically squeezes space from between lines, concentrating them in a density that in some cases nearly generates solid masses.
