Opalescent glass shines for collectors
Article Abstract:
Opalescent glass containers made by English and US companies in the late 19th and early 20th centuries are becoming collectors' items that sell for as much as $28-600. They were made by fusing a colored and clear layer together and adding bone ash chemicals to create patterns on the glass.
