Our oldest botanical garden
Article Abstract:
The forty-five acre Bartram's Garden in Philadelphia is considered America's oldest living botanical garden, and is dedicated to the study of plants. Established in 1728 and developed by utilizing the site's microclimates to provide natural habitats for plants, the garden is conserved to study history by preserving it, as in the case of Franklin tree, which has been saved from extinction.

Article Abstract:
Trustees' Garden was planned by British colonizers as an agricultural and botanical garden. However, buildings were erected over the site in succeeding years. Since then, a campaign has been launched to restore the site owned by the Atlanta Gas and Light Co in time for the 1996 Olympic yachting races.

Different shades of purple, and different textures of the Spanish bluebells and chive blossoms can be partnered in matching ceramic vases for floral arrangements. They are unexpected partners but are perfectly coordinated in color and in blooming fully at the same time of the year.
