Paper dolls a'plenty
Article Abstract:
Paper dolls, were introduced in Germany in the 1700s. They were then called English dolls and were first printed from etched wood blocks. Meanwhile, the first American paper dolls were printed by The Nicholls Company in 1854 and were given the name 'Fanny Gray.'
