An easy and inexpensive way to add more plants to one's garden is to grow perennials from seed. Since many perennials seeds take longer to sprout, they need to be regularly watered. Easy-to-grow perennials such as hostas, coneflowers and oxeye daisies are the best choices for beginning gardeners.
