Pruning makes a difference
Article Abstract:
Stump pruning of crepe myrtles results in wild-looking or awkward growths. Crepe myrtles achieve a classical look when only the tips are pruned. The resulting smaller trees are also more resistant to powdery mildew because of improved air circulation among the branches.
