Article Abstract:

The annual weeklong Fiesta San Antonio held in April begins with KingAntonio snipping off a tie of a suited dignitary. The festival, whichbegan in 1891 to honor the heroes who battled in the Battle of SanJacinto and The Alamo, features concerts, balls, expositions, artgallery displays and over 150 different parades.
