Spring's onions
Article Abstract:
Green onions can be the star of a recipe, instead of being used as mere garnishings for soups and baked potatoes. Five recipes featuring green onions are presented, including tempura-battered green onions, green onion crostini, Middle Eastern mahi-mahi, hoisin crab pot stickers and Oriental chicken salad.

Sweet stalks of spring
Article Abstract:
Recipes for asparagus such as creamy asparagus and chicken soup, asparagus with garlic cream and asparagus stir fry are provided. Asparagus which will be used for cooking should be chosen from tightly closed stalks. The diameter of each stalk may also determine the length of cooking time needed.
