Symphylans (Scutigerella immaculata)
Article Abstract:
Symphylans eat seeds, roots and vegetables that grow underground. They weaken plants and make them more susceptible to disease. They can be controlled by frequent tilling and will drown in a flooded garden. A cover crop, like teasel, will also drive them away.
