John Spencer, an actor describes the way he started collecting old furniture that in turn became his hobby. Some of the Biedermeier pieces include a turn-of-the century glass ornament shade in the Tiffany style that serves as a hanging light fixture over the dining room table, a room divider screen from the mid-1800s, and a silk Persian rug.
