Artist Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of jeweler Charles Louis Tiffany, revived the Renaissance art of stained glass windows in the US. Tiffany introduced favrile glass art objects as well as his trademark lampshades. Tiffany used combined nature themes with color harmony to mark his works.

Lucie Rie

Dame Lucie Rie is one of the world renowned individuals when it comes to classical pottery. Rie's pots were highly valued, including a 1936 black earthenware bowl priced at about $25,000. Her ceramic buttons were bought by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for $2,500.
