A gardener's kitchen may well look different from other kitchens because of the need for more storage and display space. Potting soil, baskets, hand tools, canning and other gardening gear can be shelved and stored in the kitchen. Deeper sinks are useful, and broader window sills can hold plants.

Article Abstract:
Children are attracted to the kitchen because of the activity and people to be found there. Tips are given on renovating or designing a kitchen with children in mind. Good ideas include having a large window to view outside, a heating source away from the food prep area, and a big table.
