A unique project initiated by the Global Children's Gardens in Evergreen, Colorado helps children learn more about the positive effects of conserving nature and the success of the project, started in 1999 gives hope to nature lovers around the US. The project, named Gebo, which means gift and sacrifice of harmonious relationships helps children understand the importance of conserving the green cover in their area and with newer children joining the project every year, the organizers hope that the movement covers the whole US.

Recipe booklets enjoyed popularity from the 1890s to the 1940s and were used as food product promotions. As collectibles, they do not have substantial value and may sell for only $15 per book, but they are enjoyed by collectors of nostalgia and memorabilia.
