A visit to the National Prisoner of War Museum is an opportunity to pay tribute and express gratitude to the more than 800,000 men, women and children held capture by enemy forces from the Revolution to the Gulf War. The memorial is in honor to these American prisoners of war who sacrificed their freedom so their countrymen may enjoy theirs.
