Tracing an All-American road
Article Abstract:
The Historic National Road is the country's first federally funded thoroughfare that begins at Baltimore's Inner Harbor and pushes west to Vandalia, Illinois. Its place in the American history is so significant that it was designated an All-American Road by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Sweet onions were first sold in 1931 in Vidalia, GA. A Texas A and M University professor developed large supersweet onion known as the 1015, the Texan counterpart of the Vidalia sweet onion. Different recipes using sweet onions are discussed in detail.
