Collecting vintage cookbooks is fast becoming a passion as enthusiastic cookbook hunters scour garage sales, swap meets and antique shops for additions to their culinary libraries. Chefs are even reviewing the pages of old cookbooks to add retro element to their style, and an old cookbook may is expected to provide a bonus when there is extra hand written recipes, notes or even cut outs of local newspaper or magazine in them.
