Violating the public trust: uses and abuses of public resources
Article Abstract:
The US public land is to held in trust by the government for use by the citizens. Now some legislators are questioning why these public resources cannot produce more revenue. Revenue should be provided by the timber, mining and fishing industries who profit from use of the public resources.
