Doors & windows: hardboard bifold doors offer wood look without the price
Article Abstract:
The use of doors and windows made of molded hardboard is on the increase, thanks largely to advances in engineered wood products. Over the last several years, the use and popularity of louvre doors and stile-and-rail bifold doors has been dramatically affected by molded hardboard doors that are environmentally friendly and cheaper. Georgia-Pacific official Dale Mayfield attributes the popularity of engineered wood products to cost.
